New to Lacrosse or NVLS? Start Here
Nevada Lacrosse South (NVLS) is the regional recreational lacrosse league for high school, middle school, and youth girls lacrosse. We host games and championships in the spring of each year.
What Do I Need?
Girls lacrosse has fewer equipment requirements than boys lacrosse. At a minimum, all players will need a girls lacrosse stick, girls lacrosse goggles or helmet, cleats, and a mouthguard.
Each program provides uniforms or jerseys to their own players, for either loan or purchase.

All players are required to have a USA Lacrosse membership that is valid for the whole season. The USA Lacrosse number will be verified during registration.
What if I don't know how to play?
The spring season is the perfect time to learn lacrosse!
Many new players join us in the spring at all age levels.
If you'd like to learn the basics before committing to a full season, you can join us at one of our beginner clinics!
How Do I Get Started?
You can register with NVLS by clicking the blue Registration button at the top of this page. Select your group and complete the registration process. Once your registration is received, we will sort you onto the correct team and connect you with your coach if necessary.
Where Will I Play?
Player placement is determined by the player's school of attendance. If a player attends private school, their placement is based on which CCSD school they are zoned for.
Teams are determined by geographic region and are not affiliated with individual schools in most cases.

Youth 10U Program
In 2025, we will also be hosting a 10U rec league. These players will be combined into one program for a 6 to 8 week season. All players in this age group will attend the same practices and games, as opposed to having individual teams.
